For a defined clearout, not an assumed ongoing contract
This service is for an arranged rental associated with a project. Examples to discuss include unwanted office furniture, storage-room contents or approved debris from a small premises refresh. Recurring collection, compactors and specialist industrial waste are not included by implication.
Oshawa's municipal large-item program is not available to commercial, industrial or institutional properties. Businesses should arrange the appropriate disposal service for their own materials.
Keep the loading plan simple
Nominate one person to coordinate with us. That contact should know which materials were approved, when the loading area is available and who can authorize a schedule change. Share those details with everyone using the bin.
- Check with the property owner or manager about placement.
- Keep fire access, customer routes and exits clear.
- Separate customer parking from the proposed loading area.
- Tell us about gates, delivery restrictions and site opening times.
Review equipment and confidential material separately
Do not put computers, batteries, chemicals or unfamiliar business materials in a general load without checking acceptance. Some items need a different disposal route.
A waste-bin rental is not a secure document-destruction or data-erasure service. Arrange appropriate handling for confidential files and data-bearing equipment before clearing desks or storage. Emptying a room should not mean losing control of sensitive information.
Agree the scope before the bin arrives
A useful quote starts with the material list, approximate amount, delivery location and rental dates. Flag any dense or unusually bulky items. Confirm the available size, applicable weight limit, rental period and collection arrangement before booking.
If another department or contractor adds waste, review that change with us first. A bin booked for furniture should not quietly become a different mixed-material project.
Quick answers
Do you provide permanent business garbage collection?
This website describes temporary project-bin rentals. Contact us about your needs rather than assuming a recurring collection service is included.
Can staff load the bin over several workdays?
Discuss the required rental period when booking. The dates, materials and loading limits need to be agreed in advance.
Can the bin go in a shared commercial parking lot?
Placement needs the appropriate property approval and enough safe truck access. Discuss the proposed location before delivery.
